Hello and welcome!

My name is Lauren Peacock and I am a writer, storyteller and educator. Whether I am writing a new novel, judging award panels, or mentoring students, my goal is always the same: to find the heart of a good story and share it with the world.

 

Author of the #1 Amazon comedic memoir Female. Likes Cheese. Comes with Dog, my writing has been featured in publications like Woman’s Day, Morning Lazziness, and Love Happens Magazine. 

 

I currently serve as an Associate Editor for the Iron Horse Literary Review and previously contributed to the editorial journal The Lindenwood Review. Additionally, I share my passion for mentoring creatives as an online Adjunct Instructor at the Georgia Film Academy and serve as an annual judge for the Page Turner Awards in the Screenwriter category.

 

Beyond my life as a writer and educator, I’ve spent the last 15 years as an award-winning producer in the entertainment industry. While I truly love the career I’ve built directing creative logistics for global brands, my heart is now heavily focused on the power of storytelling through travel, life experiences and community.

Lauren will be finished with her MFA in Writing this summer and is currently working on her second book.​
